About Game Info Sites
Game Info Sites, originally launched as Final Fantasy Info.com on March 18, 2003, began with a simple search through a bunch of Final Fantasy websites for Final Fantasy IX screenshots. While digging through all those sites, I noticed three important things: most only covered the latest games, those that touched on the older titles had very little info, and none truly covered everything Final Fantasy.
As a lifelong fan who owned most of the Final Fantasy catalog at the time, I decided to create a site that would change that—and so, Final Fantasy Info.com was born.
At first, this was going to be a solo passion project, but it quickly became too big for one person. So I brought on fellow fans to help grow the site. Over time, it evolved—changing names to FFInfo.com, seeing team members come and go, and even enduring long stretches of inactivity. Despite the ups and downs, the vision stayed alive: to build something lasting for the gaming community.
Today, that vision has grown. With our new name—Game Info Sites—we’ve expanded our mission to cover all games and gaming-related media: video games, anime, movies, trading card games, and more. We’re building something even bigger now—a hub for passionate fans who want deep, organized, and reliable information about the worlds they love.
To those who helped in the past, whose names may be lost to time—thank you. This site wouldn’t be here without your contributions.
Today, we’re still a team of dedicated gamers making that dream real. And we’re just getting started.
